AI in achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals

Artificial Intelligence applications can play a significant role in achieving the different UN SDG’s by assisting the monitoring and tackling of many of the world’s main challenges: from healthcare to environmental. One of the most tackling issues is how to move from the potential of Artificial Intelligence to achieving the goals as there are still challenges in capabilities and data accessibility. Other challenges are how to limit potential unwanted side effects in achieving the SDG’s with AI.
